Design Brief
I was hired by Front Range Community College Student Life to create a poster, flier, and handouts for the Day of Silence, which was one day in a week of events bringing awareness to the issue of domestic violence against women to the student body.

Reference
1 IN 3 WOMEN experience sexual assault or domestic violence at some point in their lives.
1 IN 6 MEN experience sexual abuse before the age of 18.
65% OF VICTIMS who come forward say no one helped them.

Critique
The client did not communicate with the graphic design team in a timely manner. This resulted in confusion, frustration, and delays. The client then wanted all information for the entire week of events included on the poster originally intended to focus only on the Day of Silence. Flooding the background with text caused concern regarding legibility, and viewers suggested using an alternate color to highlight the event dates.

Revisions
Below are the three final designs that I submitted to the client, who selected the last design for posters, handouts, and a Visix for TV screens.
